Social Networking: The New Lifeblood of Business
Posted on July 7, 2008. Filed under: Latest News
My media training/presentation training business thrives on word-of-mouth marketing. My best clients all seem to have come from referrals from my best clients. We enter into our relationship knowing it’s going to work, because we’ve both been vetted by people we trust. And to that end, connecting and re-connecting with people through fabulous social networking sites has become imperative. People change jobs, change companies, change locations - and now it’s so easy to track eachother, stay in touch, and continue to build important relationships.
My two favorite sites are invaluable to me. Linkedin.com, and my new favorite, Biznik.com. Here professionals of all kinds can meet, share ideas and stay connected. Face-to-face contact is as important as ever, but this new world of networking provides the most powerful tools in business today.
